BACK STORY ERB part4
I found a cave that seems stable and enclosed so its hidden from view. The floor of the cave is pretty dry and there is a small pond of water in the corner that seems pure enough to clean the wound in my leg. I sit down and wet my leg and try to pry out the shard of Jasper's ship embedded in my leg.
"Ah shit. C'mon, c'mon get out."
CLINK, CLINK.
"Ah! At this rate I'll have to retreat into my gem so my leg can heal."

Carter Junior High School was a very poor school that lived in the corner of a very small town. The school offered one language: French, and instead of having multiple teachers for one subject, they had one for each. The student count was very low, though, so it balanced out.
